The Cosmos wallet Keplr has announced the expansion of support for EVM (beta). The Keplr browser plug-in currently supports Ethereum, Optimism, Base, Polygon, BNBChain, Arbitrum, Avalanche, and Blast, but it needs to be updated manually by users. In addition, Keplr's new features include: adding more chains as non-native chains, adding ERC20 tokens through smart contract addresses, supporting ENS, and connecting with dApps that support multi-wallet discovery.
On July 22nd, Cosmos blockchain ecosystem wallet application Keplr will add support for EVM, aiming to strengthen its functionality as a multi-tier wallet solution. The new integration is expected to allow users to view and manage Ethereum-based assets directly within the Keplr interface.
