7月17日讯，17日，外交部发言人林剑主持例行记者会。有记者提问称，日前美国务院发言人发表声明称，美国继续推动捍卫中国人权的问责，美国务院正采取措施，对参与压迫被边缘化宗教和民族社群的中国官员实施签证限制。请问中方对此有何评论？林剑对此回应表示，美方蓄意散布虚假信息，抹黑中国人权状况，对中方官员滥施签证限制，严重干涉中国内政，严重违反国际法和国际关系基本准则。中方对此强烈不满、坚决反对，已向美方提出严正交涉。林剑说，作为反制，中方将依法对在涉华人权问题上炮制谎言、推动出台对华制裁损害中方利益的美方官员对等采取签证限制。
