Ministry of Commerce: Continue to suspend the export quota management of phosphate rock and silver in 2025

On October 31st, in accordance with the provisions of laws, administrative regulations and rules such as the Foreign Trade Law of the People's Republic of China, the Regulations on the Administration of the Import and Export of Goods of the People's Republic of China, the Measures for the Administration of Export Commodity Quotas, and the Measures for Inviting Tenders of Export Commodity Quotas, the total amount of export quotas of goods in 2025 and the relevant matters of quota management are hereby announced as follows: In 2025, the export quotas of licorice and licorice products, artificial cultivation of ephedra, live pigs (for Hong Kong and Macao), live cattle (for Hong Kong and Macao), live chickens (for Hong Kong), sawn timber, rushes and rushes products are 5.20 million kilograms, 1.083 million kilograms, 1.6104 million heads, 28,000 heads, 3 million, 100,000 cubic meters, and 17 million kilograms In 2025, the export quota management of phosphate rock and silver will continue to be suspended, and the export license management will be implemented. Eligible foreign trade operators exporting phosphate rock or silver can apply for an export license with a valid goods export contract (under the processing trade, the export of silver shall be handled according to regulations), and go through the customs declaration and inspection procedures for the export of goods with the export license.
