On April 9th, Mert Mumtaz, CEO of Helius, a Solana ecosystem development platform, wrote an article on social media explaining the reasons for Solana's recent network instability. He pointed out that the current problems with Solana do not stem from protocol design flaws, but from bugs appearing in specific implementations. Solana adopts the QUIC network protocol, but the current version of the QUIC implementation has some defects and errors. The design of the protocol is like the overall design of a car, while the specific implementation is similar to different brand car models. Just because a certain brand model has a problem does not mean that all cars have design flaws. Solana only needs to replace the faulty parts without changing the entire model.
