On October 30, the Canadian Transport Agency announced on its website on the 28th local time that on October 24, the Minister of Transport of Canada, under the instruction of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, revoked the restrictions on "Chinese mainland airlines flying to Canada in a total of no more than six round-trip scheduled passenger flights per week" and "banning direct flights from Beijing to Canada" promulgated on February 3, 2022. From October 25, 2024, the restrictions on China International Airlines, Capital Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Hainan Airlines, Sichuan Airlines, Xiamen Airlines, etc. will be removed.
