Kim Jong-un hosts a defense and security conference to clarify military and political positions

On October 15, local time, on October 14, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and State Councilor Kim Jong-un chaired a national defense and security meeting. After listening to the report on the implementation of the relevant work of the General Staff and the preparation of the mobilization of the main joint forces, Kim Jong-un pointed out the current direction of military activities and proposed tasks in activating the national defense force and exercising the right of self-defense to safeguard national sovereignty and security interests. Kim Jong-un clarified the strong military and political stance of the North Korean party and government at the meeting.
