USDA: China 2024/25 annual sugar production expected to increase to 11 million tons

Gold Ten Futures, October 4, according to foreign media reports, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) in Guangzhou's Overseas Agricultural Service (FAS) released a report showing that China's 2024/25 annual sugar production is expected to be 11 million tons, an increase of 600,000 tons, due to the expansion of sugarcane and sugar beet planting area, and the formation of competitive crop profits decline. The report shows that China's 2024/25 annual sugar consumption is expected to be 15.60 million tons, down 100,000 tons.
