To increase adoption, PayPal announced a partnership with Anchorage Digital (the only U.S. cryptocurrency company with a banking license) to offer stablecoin rewards to Anchorage Digital's user base of accredited investors who hold PYUSD at its Bank of America, its Singapore subsidiary, or through its non-custodial wallet, Porto. Anchorage Digital stated that PYUSD and the rewards program do not constitute an offering of securities and do not fall under the jurisdiction of banking regulators. (Fortune)
