WBMS: Global Refined Copper Supply Shortage 231,100 Tons in June 2024

Gold Ten Futures, August 21, the latest report released by the World Bureau of Metals Statistics (WBMS) shows that in June 2024, the global refined copper production was 2.385 million tons, the consumption was 2.6161 million tons, and the supply shortage was 231,100 tons. In January-June 2024, the global refined copper production was 14.1402 million tons, the consumption was 14.2565 million tons, and the supply shortage was 116,300 tons. In June 2024, the global copper concentrate production was 1.5237 million tons. In January-June 2024, the global copper concentrate production was 9.1202 million tons.
