Airstrikes hit several areas in Sudan, causing civilian casualties

On August 21, local time on August 20, Sudan East Darfur capital city of Du'ein suffered a large-scale air strikes, several residential areas, markets and a hospital were severely damaged. According to local sources, the air strikes killed at least four civilians and injured 12 others. In addition, the capital of North Darfur city of El Fasher, Gezira state of Hasahisa city also suffered airstrikes on the same day, and caused civilian casualties. The specific casualty figures are still being counted. The Sudanese local organization resistance committee said that these airstrikes were launched by the Sudanese armed forces. The Sudanese armed forces have not yet responded to this.
