On August 9, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Commerce said that in order to safeguard the development rights and interests of the electric vehicle industry and global green transformation cooperation, on August 9, China submitted the European Union's temporary anti-subsidy measures for electric vehicles to the World Trade Organization dispute settlement mechanism. The findings in the preliminary ruling of the European Union lack factual and legal basis, seriously violate WTO rules, and damage the overall situation of global cooperation on climate change. We urge the European Union to immediately correct its wrong practices and jointly maintain China-EU economic and trade cooperation and the stability of the electric vehicle supply chain.
