18 Chinese citizens killed in battery factory fire in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea

On the morning of the 24th local time, a fire broke out at a battery factory in Hacheng, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. According to the Gyeonggi-do Fire Disaster Headquarters of South Korea, as of 17:55 that day, the fire had killed 22 people. Earlier in the day, the fire department said that 23 people were missing in the fire, including 20 foreigners.
