On June 17, Guizhou Moutai opened lower today, and continued to weaken during the session. At one point, it fell nearly 3%. The lowest price was 1511.01 yuan, setting a new low in December 2022. It closed down 1.48% in early trading. On the news, the wholesale reference price of Moutai liquor continued to fall recently. According to the data of the sauce wine platform "Fuji Sauce", the wholesale reference price of Moutai Feitian (scattered) 53 degrees/500ml fell below the 2400 yuan/bottle mark in 2024 and was quoted at 2320 yuan/bottle. In addition, some e-commerce platforms have quoted Feitian Moutai 53 degrees/500ml as low as 2200 yuan/bottle. In response, the reporter contacted the investor relations department of Kweichow Moutai as an investor and asked whether Moutai would take measures such as reducing shipments to prevent the price drop. The relevant person responded: "The company has its own delivery rhythm. It has already formulated [plans] at the beginning of the year, and will also make certain adjustments according to market conditions."
