Solana passes proposal to allocate 100% of priority fees to validators

Solana validators voted to approve Solana Improvement Document No. 96 (SIMD-0096), which proposes to award 100% of priority transaction fees to validators. Previously, it was a model that transferred 50% of the funds to validators, while the other half was burned. According to early estimates, inflation will increase by 4.6% after implementation.
