Optimism opens fourth round of retrospective financing applications

Optimism has opened its fourth round of retroactive funding applications, called Onchain Builders. This round of funding will distribute 10 million OP tokens to builders who deploy contracts on the OP Stack (including Base, Mode, Redstone and Zora) chain. The submission window is open until June 6th at 19:00 UTC, but those who submit their applications by May 31st will receive a commemorative NFT.
To qualify, a smart contract must have interacted with at least 420 unique addresses between January 1 and May 1, 2024, have sustained contract activity for at least 10 days, and have verified contract ownership on GitHub. Badge holders will vote on submissions next month, and the winners will be announced on July 15.
