In terms of Bitcoin and Ethereum options trading volume in April, both hit historical highs again in April. Bitcoin options trading volume reached a new high of $47.30 billion, an increase of 1.2%; Ethereum options trading volume reached a new high of $26.32 billion, an increase of 25.4%. However, Bitcoin options unpositioned squaring volume continued to decline, falling by 15.5%, and Ethereum holdings were also falling, down 7.1%.
In terms of futures, the average monthly trading volume of Ethereum futures decreased to $691 billion in April, a decrease of 22.6%. April Bitcoin futures unpositioned squaring volume fell by 1.6%, Ethereum futures unpositioned squaring volume fell by 17.7%; in terms of futures trading volume, Bitcoin futures April trading volume fell by 21.38% to $1.59 trillion.
