UniSat announced that it is actively advancing the standardization work related to brc20-swap. At the meeting on Monday, the maintainers of the brc-20 standard expressed the hope that UniSat will provide a complete specification document for swap, with a clear and unambiguous definition of swap behavior to minimize ambiguity and undefined behavior. UniSat said it will make every effort to complete the drafting of the specification within this week, and submit it to the BRC20 Supervisory Committee for review by this Friday, while soliciting feedback from all parties.
In addition, UniSat plans to fully open-source the entire codebase of swap in the first week of May, allowing anyone to deploy and run with the code. They will also assist BestInSlots in completing a second implementation on OPI, ensuring that the UniSat version of swap behaves the same as the OPI version.
