On the 6th local time, the "Athena" lunar lander developed by the US "Intuitive Machines" company landed on the moon at about 12:30 EST on the same day. The company's CEO said that they believe "Athena" failed to be in an upright state. According to NASA, at 19:16 EST on February 26, the "Athena" lander was launched from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on a "Falcon 9" rocket of the US Space Exploration Technology Corporation. NASA then confirmed that the lander separated from the rocket, and the former entered the scheduled orbit and continued to fly to the moon. After about a week of flight, the lander is expected to land in a crater near the south pole of the moon on March 6.
