By 2027, the total cost of social logistics should be reduced to around 13.5% of GDP

On November 27th, the General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the General Office of the State Council recently issued the "Action Plan for Effectively Reducing the Cost of Logistics in the Whole Society" and issued a notice requiring all regions and departments to earnestly implement it in light of the actual situation. The main goal is: By 2027, the ratio of total social logistics expenses to GDP should be reduced to about 13.5%. New breakthroughs have been made in the reform of the comprehensive transportation system. The structure of freight transportation has been further optimized. The proportion of railway freight volume and railway freight turnover should be increased to about 11% and 23% respectively. The combined transportation volume of container iron and water at ports should maintain rapid growth. Cultivate a group of modern logistics enterprises with international competitiveness, the national logistics hub system and modern logistics service network are more complete, and a unified, efficient, and competitive logistics market is basically formed. The strategic support of modern logistics for improving the resilience and safety level of the industrial chain supply chain has been significantly enhanced.
