According to foreign media reports, the European Parliament voted on Thursday to delay the implementation of the European Union's Zero Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) by 12 months and passed a series of amendments to weaken the law. The European Union Commission announced plans last month to delay the implementation of the regulation by one year until December 2025.
