Florida Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis said in a CNBC television interview on Thursday that the state holds about $800 million in crypto-related investments in its portfolio. If former President Trump is re-elected next month, he wouldn't be surprised by the increase in that number. Earlier this week, Patronis said in a letter that Florida should invest some of its state pension system funds in cryptocurrencies.
