Hinkal, an institutional-grade self-hosted protocol, has announced the upcoming "Shared Privacy Protocol (dubbed'EigenLayer for Privacy ') " to enable cross-chain privacy through anonymous staking. According to the project's white paper: "Hinkal is a set of middleware and smart contracts on the EVM chain that uses zero-knowledge proofs (ZK-proofs) and cryptic addresses to enable compliant and discreet transactions on major dApps.
Hinkal announced the completion of a $1.40 million strategic round of financing at a valuation of $70 million. SALT Fund, the investment fund of Anthony Scaramucci's son AJ, participated in the investment by Draper Associates, SNZ Capital and Peer VC. Tal Cohen, CEO of Kraken US, joined Hinkal's advisory board.
