Ethereum sidechain Gnosis Chain has announced that Shutter's threshold encryption technology has been implemented on the mainnet for the first time. This beta version brings an encrypted memory pool to Gnosis Chain to protect users from malicious MEV attacks. This is the second major Shutter use case to go live after Shielded Voting for Snapshot.
On June 24th, the Shutter team said that the protocol launched a new anti-front-running (preemptive trading) solution that uses memory pool encryption to combat MEV attacks that take nearly $900 million a year from crypto transactions.
