U.S. Vice President Harris said he is working towards a second debate with former President Donald Trump.
Harris, the US vice-president, said she would not stop fracking if elected president, reversing her previous opposition to much of the current US oil and gas production technology. "As vice-president, I have not banned fracking," Harris said in an interview on Thursday, her most explicit statement on the issue since becoming a Democratic candidate. "As president, I will not ban fracking." Previously, Trump said Harris had led the US "ban on fracking".
Harris, US vice-president, said the goal of the presidency was to create an "opportunity economy"; supply chains had improved but prices remained high.
Vice President Harris said the Federal Reserve should act independently of the president.
