According to data from blockchain security company Blockaid, 50% of the pre-sale tokens launched in the Solana ecosystem from November last year to February this year exhibited malicious behavior. The data highlights two key factors that have helped scams spread in the Solana ecosystem. Ido Ben Natan stated that, driven by the popularity of legal Memecoins, the absorption of pre-sale tokens in February and March increased exponentially, providing a fertile ground for scammers. In addition, scammers are adept at exploiting users' fear of missing out (FOMO) and employing complex strategies such as imitating legitimate transactions and creating deceptive websites. The research findings highlight the necessity of strengthening security measures in the Solana ecosystem.
