On October 21, the General Office of the Guangdong Provincial People's Government issued a notice on the Guangdong Province's Action Plan for Accelerating the Innovation and Development of the Optical Chip Industry (2024-2030). It mentioned promoting the research and development and manufacturing of key optical chip equipment. Vigorously promote the development and localization of key optical chip equipment such as etching machines, bonding machines, epitaxial growth equipment and optical vector parameter network testers. Implement the policy of updating and transforming industrial equipment, and accelerate the update and upgrading of key optical chip equipment.
