On September 6, the State Financial Supervision and Administration issued a notice on the issuance of the Measures for the Administration of Criminal Cases involving Financial Institution Groups, which mentioned that the term Financial Institution Group as mentioned in these Measures refers to financial holding companies, policy banks, commercial banks, rural cooperative banks, rural credit cooperatives, rural mutual fund cooperatives, loan companies, financial asset management companies, enterprise group financial companies, financial leasing companies, auto finance companies, consumer finance companies, money brokerage companies, trust companies, wealth management companies, financial asset investment companies, personal insurance companies, property insurance companies, insurance asset management companies, insurance group (holding) companies, reinsurance companies, policy insurance companies, mutual insurance organizations, insurance professional agencies, insurance brokers. These Measures shall apply to other institutions supervised by the State Administration of Financial Supervision and its dispatched agencies, such as representative offices of foreign banks, representative offices of foreign insurance institutions, and insurance assessors.
