The government of eastern Libya says it will stop all oil production and exports

On August 26, the government of eastern Libya issued a statement on social platforms saying that all oil fields, terminals and oil facilities are facing "force majeure". The move is a response to the attempt by the rival Tripoli-based government to take over the Libyan central bank.
