Binance received a letter of thanks from the Hong Kong Police Force for its contribution to a kidnapping case

On August 26, Binance announced that it had received a letter of thanks from the Organised Crime and Triad Bureau (OCTB) of the Hong Kong Police Force for its contribution to the investigation of a recent major kidnapping case. The Hong Kong Police also expressed its recognition of the need for collective efforts in combating criminal activities using emerging technologies, and praised Binance for its proactive stance in addressing these challenges.
Carlos Mak, a member of the Binance investigation team, said: "We have always believed that public-private collaboration is the key to maintaining the security of the crypto financial environment and promoting trust in the industry.
