The second round of home appliance trade-in implementation rules was released, with a maximum subsidy of 2,000 yuan per product

On August 25th, the general offices of the Ministry of Commerce and other four departments recently issued a notice on further doing a good job in the trade-in of home appliances. It is mentioned that all localities should coordinate the use of central and local funds to give trade-in subsidies to 8 types of home appliances for individual consumers to purchase refrigerators, washing machines, televisions, air conditioners, computers, water heaters, household stoves, and range hoods with energy efficiency standards of level 2 and above. The subsidy standard is 15% of the final sales price of the product. For the purchase of products with energy efficiency or water efficiency of level 1 and above, an additional subsidy of 5% of the final sales price of the product will be given. Each consumer can subsidize 1 piece of each type of product, and the subsidy for each piece does not exceed 2,000 yuan. The specific varieties of the above 8 types of home appliances will be determined independently. Encourage localities to combine local residents' consumption habits, actual consumer market conditions, and industrial characteristics to subsidize other home appliance varieties and clarify relevant subsidy standards. Encourage qualified regions to include hotel TV end points in the scope of consumer goods trade-in subsidies according to local conditions.
