US stocks close: stock index trend divergence, NVIDIA tumbled 7%

On July 31st, the U.S. stock market closed on Tuesday, the Dow index initially closed up 0.5% or 200 points, the S & P 500 index fell 0.5%, the Nasdaq index fell 1.28%. Tesla (TSLA. O) fell 4%, NVIDIA (NVDA. O) fell 7%. Nasdaq China Golden Dragon index closed down 1.5%, XPeng Motors (XPEV. N) fell more than 3%, Alibaba (BABA. N) fell 0.7%.
