At the Bitcoin 2024 conference in Nashville, Tennessee, crypto security firm Ledger unveiled its latest hardware device, the Ledger Flex. Like the company's previous Ledger Stax wallet, the new device features Ledger's trademark E-Ink touchscreen display technology, which is said to make it easier to operate the device without compromising security.
In addition to integrating Ledger's "Secure OS" operating system, Flex will also connect to mobile and desktop app Ledger Live. To date, the app has integrated with providers such as Moonpay, Coinbase, PayPal, and Lido to facilitate buying and selling and other crypto financial services on 70 blockchains, 200 dApps, and 10,000 tokens.
At $249, the Flex is one of Ledger's more expensive products. Two devices in the "nano" line cost less than the Flex, the Nano S Plus costs $79, while the Nano X retails for $149. The $399 Ledger Stax, designed by Tony Fadell, the "godfather of the iPod," began shipping in May after production delays.
