Former President Donald Trump's chances of winning the US Presidential Election have improved dramatically after an assassination attempt on Saturday. The share of "yes" contracts on whether Mr. Trump will win the election rose from $0.60 to $0.70, according to Polymarket data. That means traders put the likelihood of Mr. Trump winning the November election at 70 per cent. The odds of Mr. Biden winning the election fell from 30 per cent to 17 per cent at the same time, according to Polymarket, while traders at Polymarket said Vice President Kamala Harris had a 6 per cent chance of winning.
