On July 12, U.S. Treasury yields rose on Friday after the release of U.S. PPI data was slightly higher than expected, but overall did not change expectations that the Federal Reserve may cut interest rates at its September meeting. The 10-year Treasury yield rose 3.5 basis points to 4.227%, up from 4.204% before the data was released. After the data was released, the two-year Treasury yield rose slightly to 4.510%.
