EOS Network Foundation Announces Release of EOS EVM Contract and EOS EVM Node 1.0.0 Version

On July 11th, the EOS Network Foundation announced the release of the EOS EVM contract and EOS EVM node 1.0.0 version, introducing support for hard forks in Shanghai and London and a new dynamic gas fee algorithm. In addition, EOSEVM now officially supports multiple versions and will be able to perform hard forks when future versions adopt the new EIP. EOS EVM 1.0 is scheduled for release in early August and is currently undergoing a release candidate process. This major update will affect users currently running EOS EVM mainnet nodes.
