Polls show that Le Pen is certain to fail to win a majority in Sunday's election

On July 4th, according to two polling companies, Le Pen's National Congress party and its allies will fall far short of an absolute majority in Sunday's French parliamentary elections. The French Institute of Public Opinion (Ifop) said that far-right groups are expected to win 210 to 240 of the 577 seats in the National Assembly. This means that far-right parties will lack the 289 lawmakers they need to easily pass bills and advance their agendas.
