The 10th session of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress voted on June 28 to pass the Law of the People's Republic of China on Rural Collective Economic Organizations, which will come into force on May 1, 2025. The Law on Rural Collective Economic Organizations clearly stipulates that the state protects the legitimate rights and interests of rural collective economic organizations and their members, and no organization or individual may infringe on them.
