US stocks close: Micron Technology fell 7%, and the index of Chinese stocks fell more than 2%.

U.S. stocks closed Thursday with the Dow and S & P 500 edging higher and the Nasdaq up 0.3 percent. Nvidia (NVDA. O) fell 1.9 percent, Micron Technology (MU. O) fell 7 percent and Amazon (AMZN. O) rose 2 percent. The Nasdaq China Golden Dragon closed down 2.2 percent, XPeng Motors (XPEV. N) fell 6.6 percent, JD.com (JD. O) fell more than 4 percent and Alibaba (BABA. N) fell 2 percent.
