Crypto asset exchange BitFlyer will acquire FTX Japan subsidiary FTX Japan

Crypto exchange BitFlyer is acquiring FTX Japan, FTX's Japanese subsidiary, in a deal estimated to be worth billions of yen. It will acquire its entire stake and make it a wholly owned subsidiary. After the acquisition, FTX Japan's core business will shift to asset management (custody) for institutional investors holding virtual currencies.
