Japanese venture capital firm Skyland Ventures announces investment in Bitlayer

On June 5th, Japanese venture capital firm Skyland Ventures announced its investment in Bitlayer, the Bitcoin native two-layer network. For this cooperation, Skyland Ventures general partner and CSO Yuan Xiaohang said that he believes that Bitlayer's advanced technology and EVM compatibility will open up new possibilities for developers and users. Charlie Hu, co-founder of Bitlayer, said that Skyland Ventures participated in the A round of financing of the project, and the two parties will establish a strategic partnership to jointly build the Japanese Bitcoin ecosystem and developer community.
Bitlayer is a Bitcoin security equivalent Layer 2 solution based on the BitVM paradigm, dedicated to being the computing layer of Bitcoin, providing Bitcoin security equivalent and Turing-complete.
Previously, Japanese venture capital agency Skyland Ventures announced that its Web3 fund Skyland Ventures No. 4 Fund has completed a total of 5 billion yen fundraising, mainly investing in Web2 and Web3 startups, especially actively investing in the field of generative AI and meta-universe and other digital economy fields.
