The Sandbox DAO will be launched in three phases, with the first phase beginning today and supporting community votes on proposals

On May 28, the decentralized gaming platform The Sandbox announced the launch of The Sandbox DAO. The DAO plan will be implemented in three phases, allowing The Sandbox (SAND) holders and virtual LAND holders to vote on projects and propose improvements through the Sandbox Improvement Proposal (SIP).
The first phase will begin on May 28, and the community will be able to vote on the SIP; however, The Sandbox staff will still manage some operations. The second phase of the DAO's implementation is seen as its "exploratory" phase, and it is expected that the Sandbox DAO will be able to stand on its own and break away from the parent company. By the third phase, the DAO is expected to be fully operational and have community-driven governance.
