On May 23rd, Horizen Labs launched zkVerify, a dedicated zero-knowledge proof verification network designed for settlement optimization. Horizen Labs estimates that the proof verification cost of zk-rollups on Ethereum will reach $47 million in 2023. ZkVerify eliminates the cost and complexity of computationally intensive proof verification for developers building with zk-rollups, proposing a key unlocking scheme for scalability and adoption of decentralized applications.
