On May 22, the Xiamen Housing Provident Fund Center issued a notice on adjusting the down payment ratio of housing provident fund loans. Among them, it is clear that the minimum down payment ratio for those who apply for housing provident fund loans to buy the first house in this city is 15%; for those who apply for housing provident fund loans to buy the second house in this city, the minimum down payment ratio is 25%. The policy will be implemented from May 22, 2024. For the purchase of new commercial housing, the time of submitting the online signing of the commercial housing sales contract shall prevail; for the purchase of second-hand housing, the time of acceptance at the window of the Municipal Real Estate Registration Center shall prevail.
