Hong Kong virtual asset spot ETF AUM fell 3% from the first day to HK $2.223 billion

Hong Kong's virtual asset spot ETF has been issued for 12 trading days, and the overall AUM of ETFs has not changed much. According to the data of the Stock Exchange, the total AUM of the whole has risen to the level of HK $2.52 billion at most, and last Friday was HK $2.223 billion, which was 3% lower than the first day. Among them, only the AUM of Huaxia Bitcoin ETF has seen HK $1 billion, and Harvest Ether (3179) AUM is the lowest among the six, and last Friday was about 56 million yuan. In addition, Bitcoin ETF accounts for 85% of the total asset value, and Ethereum ETF accounts for 15%, reflecting that Bitcoin is still the mainstream virtual currency. In addition, six ETFs have weakened after reaching 87.61 million yuan on the first day, with an average daily turnover of about 41.03 million yuan.
Data show that among the fund companies issuing virtual currency spot ETFs, Huaxia has the most market makers. As of May 8 and denominated in Hong Kong dollars, Huaxia Bitcoin has a total of 7 market makers; Bosera HashKey Bitcoin ETF (3008) and Harvest Bitcoin (3439) have 6 and 4 respectively, and only Huaxia Bitcoin's RMB counter has market makers.
