A spokesperson for the Ministry of Commerce stated that on March 26th, the World Trade Organization released the expert group report on the WTO dispute over measures related to China v. Australia's wind towers and three other products. The World Trade Organization has ruled that the anti-dumping measures taken by Australia against three products, including the Huafeng Tower, railway wheels, and stainless steel water tanks, violate World Trade Organization rules. The Chinese side appreciates the objective and fair ruling made by the expert group. The Chinese side believes that the expert group's ruling is clear and explicit, and the discriminatory approach of the Australian side in taking anti-dumping measures against products related to Chinese enterprises is incorrect. The Chinese side hopes that the Australian side will respect the ruling, correct any violations as soon as possible, cancel relevant taxation measures, and strictly abide by World Trade Organization rules in other trade remedies. We will work together with the Chinese side to maintain the multilateral trading system and promote the healthy development of China Australia economic and trade relations.
