UK Treasury: Continuously Promoting Fund Tokenization Strategy

The UK Treasury and Bim Afolami MP have jointly released the second report on fund tokenization by the Technical Working Group. The report further explores potential use cases of fund tokenization, particularly the use of tokens as collateral for money market funds, and the role of tokenized funds in fully on chain investment markets, aimed at simplifying backend functionality. In addition, the report also points out that the technology working group will shift its focus in the future to how the UK investment management department can leverage the opportunities brought by artificial intelligence.
