Nigeria's International Criminal Police Organisation enhances cyber security with virtual asset training

Nigeria's International Criminal Police Organisation, cyber security experts and other members of the local intelligence community met to jointly explore how to tackle cybercrime in the country. It is reported that the event, which was held in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria, was organized by A & D Forensics in partnership with the Africa Stablecoin Consortium and aimed to educate the Nigeria's International Criminal Police Organisation on how to reduce crimes involving virtual assets, especially stablecoins. According to blockchain expert Chioma Onkelyeu, the training course aims to enhance the capabilities of the International Criminal Police Organisation agents with the skills to use blockchain intelligence and analysis to track and prosecute cybercriminals involved in cryptocurrency transactions, especially using bitcoin and stablecoins.
