US courts have ordered the seizure of 279 virtual currency accounts containing the proceeds of North Korean hacking. US District Court Judge Timothy Kelly in Washington, DC, granted federal prosecutors' request for summary judgment on the accounts and ordered the seizure on May 8. The ruling means the accounts are now in the hands of the US government's Treasury Department.
