TikTok will use new content certificate technology to automatically label AI-generated content

TikTok said it will now start automatically labeling AI-generated content (AIGC) when it is uploaded to the platform, is currently working with the Content Provenance and Authenticity Alliance (C2PA), and will be the first media sharing platform to adopt its content credential technology.
TikTok says this will happen through content certificate technology, which attaches metadata to content that platforms can use to instantly identify and tag AIGC. TikTok says it will also launch a media literacy resource developed with MediaWise and WITNESS.
