Worldcoin to sell 500,000 to 1.50 million WLDs per week for next 6 months

On April 24th, Worldcoin said in a blog post on April 23rd that WorldAssets, the subsidiary of the Worldcoin Foundation responsible for token issuance, will sell up to 1.50 million WLDs per week, worth about $8.20 million, through a series of "private placements to select institutional trading firms operating outside the United States". Worldcoin wrote: "WorldAssets expects to sell an average of 500,000 to 1.50 million WLDs per week.
Therefore, the circulating supply of WLD will increase accordingly. "According to CoinGecko, adding up to 1.50 million WLD tokens per week for six months is equivalent to adding 36 million new tokens to the market, currently worth about $197 million.
